I especially liked the Mt. It employs the same mechanics to bring together the strategic thinking of an RPG with the exciting battles of an Action game. She can transform into many powerful creatures, which help your three-person party overcome dangerous enemies on their way to saving the kingdom. While the game is fantastic by yourself, it can also be played in co-op for a more dynamic and exciting experience. But with Legends 2 offering a better storyline, more characters, and better gameplay in general, the sequel comes out on top.
But considering you level up your skills, improve your tools, and complete quests for the townspeople, it counts. The game follows your farmer through several stages of their life, including marriage, raising a child, and eventually their golden years.
Not the most exciting, but the fact your character could age was a big deal when it first released especially compared to other Harvest Moon titles of the time. This is not as well-known as HM: A Wonderful Life, but Magical Melody is every bit as good — and probably better thanks to a more focused storyline and more varied gameplay. Virtua Fighter is credited with being the first 3D game ever released — but did you know it has an RPG spin-off?
You play as Sei, a newly-registered Hunter in the Nexus — a virtual universe with widespread reach worldwide. This fantastic title is a loose adaptation of the movie trilogy with turn-based RPG gameplay comparable to Final Fantasy X.
It also has a new unit type; the Laguz. The Laguz are a people who transform into animals in battle, and are rather strong, but when they're in their human forms, they can't fight. This game has only 28 missions, and unfortunately doesn't have a bottomless supply of battles like Sacred Stones has , which keeps it down at number 4.
Paper Mario. The game that proved 2D still had a place in the world of Gaming, a giant on the N It's sequel is on the GameCube, and it is a great game, just like its predecessor. Much of what you could do in the N64 Paper Mario, you can do in this one, but not all of it. But while that might be a bad thing for those who liked the original, it makes up for in many areas.
This one certainly took the "paper" part and ran with it. In the Thousand Year Door, you found chests that cursed you and allowed you to be turned you into various paper things like paper airplanes or boats. Much like the N64 title, the battle system of this game is turn-based and is made more active by using "Action Commands" to increase or reduce damage during your or your enemies attacks. But in the Thousand Year Door, there's an audience that affects how your battles go by modifying the amount of Star Power you gain in each turn.
There's more but I'm not going to explain it all. Play this great game yourself to find out. Yes, this is a DreamCast port. But SOA:L still kicks enough rear end to make it to the number 2 spot. Skies of Arcadia is like Baten Kaitos, the land floats over a endless sky, and there are plenty of Airships. This game tells the tales of Air Pirate Vyse as he takes on the evil Valuan Empire in an epic adventure.
This game is epic. In either case, rivalry and fun is more than assured. TimeSplitters 2 is an excellent first-person shooter, with a considerable duration for single-player and a multiplayer mode that those players who have a multitap should not miss under any circumstances. Good technical sections complete the set and make TimeSplitters 2 one of the best first-person shooters there is for the Nintendo console. If you have more people to play with, TimeSplitters 2 is going to become one of the games you will remember for years to come because time travel is more fun when you have a friend to do it.
This sequel of one of the main console launch titles adds to the multitude of things you and your friends can do with apes locked in spheres. Like the first game, four players can take turns playing in single-player mode with a variety of difficulty settings.
But we all know that things get more fun in multiplayer with mini-games, where this game raises the bet significantly. It also introduces new modes like Monkey Shot, Monkey Soccer, and Monkey Tennis, all of which up to four people can play them.
Super Mario Strikers is a good start for this saga. It has many virtues and is an entertaining game, especially with multiple players. The game could be improved in some aspects because the game ends up doing something monotonous by having a particular limitation in the options, without significant differences between the players and between the teammates.
Super Mario Striker is missing some more game modes since more game options would increase the experience. Even so, we are facing a very fun game and highly recommended for those who want to take advantage of the multiplayer capacity of the console. The best of Capcom and the best of SNK is in here. This game includes all the gameplay and all the spectacularity that has characterized its best-known fighting sagas. Capcom vs.
SNK has a luxurious soundtrack, with new themes and mythical music from the sagas included in this title. Without a doubt, this title guarantees hours and hours of games, laughs, anger, and bets with your friends. Asking you to take it with you to sleepovers and anywhere you could find friends to play with.
First up is a game most of you probably recognize as being one of the weakest entries in the StarFox roster. Indeed, I still remember the broken dreams of my middle-school bestie who thought this game would change his life, only to become conscious of the existence of shoddy games — even from the Big N.
This cult-classic from Capcom revolves around Borgs, little autonomous toy robots armed with weapons of mass borg-destruction. Much like Custom Robo, one of the main gameplay features is preparing your robots for battle, but Gotcha Force focuses on building an army rather than a single operative. Among my favorite parts of the game are the battlefields, made up of everyday locales such as toy rooms, kitchens, and parks that are gigantic in comparison to your soldiers. While the story progression and moving about in the overworld are all handled by a single player, you can hook up a second controller and take command of a party member during fights for an engaging Co-Op experience.
Both single and multi-player puzzles range from hard to stupidly hard. And that goes for both the original and the sequels all of which are comparably good. And that goes for both the original and its sequel. The best way to manage this is to do some Co-Op challenges in between versus rounds, but this is only a palliative — they will definitely get annoyed at your BS after a couple of hours.
And who could ever forget this incredible soundtrack to boot.
